An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and organised Logistics Operative to join a busy Tool Stores function within a leading engineering and manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position supporting day-to-day operational needs, ensuring the efficient control, issue, and replenishment of tools and equipment essential to production activities.

Key Accountabilities - Logistics Operative

  • Manage the issuing, returning, and tracking of tools and equipment within the Tool Stores area
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, completing regular inventory checks
  • Ensure all tools are inspected, calibrated, and stored correctly
  • Support the wider logistics and production teams with material handling and distribution
  • Identify and report any tooling discrepancies, shortages, or maintenance needs
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance store efficiency and workflow

Skills and knowledge required - Logistics Operative

  • Previous experience in logistics, tool stores, warehouse, or materials handling
