Reporting to the Airport Service Manager, you will be joining our Terminal 4 Maintenance Support Teamat Heathrow Airport. We take care of everything related to our installed base; from Hotline support and spare parts to residential service and maintenance.

You will be part of the maintenance team in T4 in Heathrow who are responsible for all service and maintenance on our systems. Your tasks will include:

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on the system
  • Perform electrical and mechanical tasks (including motors, bearings and belts) including analytical troubleshooting in planned as well as reactive environments
  • Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales
  • Able to deal with any control technical faults
  • Support on identifying problematic faults and rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis
  • Perform maintenancetasks on PLC Systems
  • Working as part of a team and also comfortable working on your own

We do require a minimum of the following :

  • You need to hold relevant qualifications in either mechanical or electrical for example City and Guilds/NVQor an ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • You hold some experience from a similar role, preferably within sortation and distribution or a fast moving production environment
  • You may have knowledge of Emergency Stop Systems and Safety Supervision Systems

  • You hold some experience from a similar role, preferably within sortation and distribution or a fast moving production environment
  • You may have knowledge of Emergency Stop Systems and Safety Supervision Systems
  • You have excellent communication skills and solid IT skills, primarily with Microsoft Office applications
