Finance ManagerLocation: Uxbridge / HybridType: PermanentSalary: £70,000 - £75,000 + BenefitsStart Date: ASAP Are you a qualified and driven Finance Manager looking to make a real impact in a purpose-led, fast-paced environment? We are working with a leading multi-site organisation, with a nationwide presence and a turnover in excess of £500m. As the company continues its impressive growth journey, including international expansion — they are looking to appoint a Finance Manager who will play a critical role in shaping financial reporting and process improvements across the business. The RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for driving enhancements in the record-to-report (R2R) process and delivering accurate, insightful financial information to the Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team. This role offers excellent scope for progression, team leadership (managing two direct reports), and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead reporting improvement initiatives across the Group
  • Review and manage balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
  • Deliver meaningful variance analysis and financial insights
  • Support external audit processes and year-end reporting
  • Develop internal controls and maintain compliance with accounting policies
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance reporting systems, processes and controls
 Skills/Experience:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in delivering finance change and improvements
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and hands-on in your approach
  • Line management experience is essential
