Provide clients with a route to an advisor

With offices in Uxbridge, my client is a reputable independent financial advice company. They provide rich clients in the London and home counties area with comprehensive market advice on pensions, investments, tax planning, IHT, mortgages, and certain protections. To assist their clients with their intergenerational planning, they also provide estate work, wills, and trusts.

They have been providing financial planning services in the area for 25 years, and their clientele is growing naturally. Typical clientele have investable assets ranging from £500,000 to several million. City professionals, SmE business owners and managers, accumulators, and those in and out of retirement are among the clientele. Since the current incumbent was just promoted to adviser, they are now seeking a paraplanner who wants a clear path to become an adviser. This role is appropriate for paraplanners who enjoy the technical and servicing aspects of their work, and it will appeal to those who prefer providing comprehensive, all-encompassing wealth management advice and genuinely collaborating with the client’s best interests in mind. You will be working alongside a well-established Advisor who has built up their client portfolio over the last 20 years. This Adviser is looking to retire in the next few years, so is keen to mentor a Paraplanner that aspires to be an Adviser, so they can hand over their clients to them. They will provide structured hands-on support and training and once you feel comfortable, will get you to attend client meetings, taking detailed notes and then take an active part in the product selection and recommendation process.

This is a rare opportunity for someone that enjoys the technical aspects of Paraplanning but doesn’t relish the prospect of having to business develop a client bank from scratch, when they become an Adviser. If you are level 4 diploma qualified or sitting your final exams this year, then our client would like to speak to you.

The role has the added advantage of being part office, part home based, and full study support will be provided to you, if you wish to undertake your chartered qualifications.
