We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Foundation Skills Lecturer to join our team and deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as Maths, English, ICT, and Employability Skills. As part of a supportive and collaborative faculty, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
What You'll Do:
Deliver high-quality teaching in Foundation Skills (Maths, English, ICT, etc.) to students at various levels.
Create engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
Provide feedback and support to students to help them reach their academic and personal goals.
Monitor student progress and provide guidance for improvement.
Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
You must:
To teach on a range of courses within the School of Foundation Studies, focusing on Access to FE programmes
To prepare students for Edexcel and City and Guilds portfolios and Functional Skills exams
To direct and work with Learning Support Assistants within the classroom
To participate in residential trips/activity days within Foundation Studies
What We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
Experience in teaching Foundation Skills, particularly in a post-16 environment.
A passion for helping students develop the core skills they need for success.
