Uxbridge College part of the HRUC group (Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges) is looking for a passionate and skilled Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join our dynamic team. With cutting-edge facilities and a strong reputation for student success, we offer the ideal environment for both new and experienced lecturers to thrive.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a range of Electrical & Electronic Engineering courses (Level 25), including BTEC and HNC/HND.
  • Support learners through theory and practical sessions, using industry-standard labs and immersive learning technologies.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, assessments, and continuous improvement across the department.
  • Mentor students and track their progress to help them achieve their goals and succeed in further study or industry placements.
  • Collaborate with a skilled, supportive teaching team and stay current with developments in the engineering sector.


What Were Looking For:

  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Electrical Installation (NVQ)
  • 18th edition wiring regulations C&G 2382-22 qualifications
  • Minimum Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. DET/Cert Ed) or willingness and ability to work towards a teaching qualification, supported by the College
  • Experience gained in the electrical installation industry
  • Experience in current electro-technical systems and experience with the AM2 assessment
