We are seeking a passionate and committed Tutor/Mentor to support a group learning provision for young people aged 16+ who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and have experienced barriers to learning in traditional education settings.

In this role, you will deliver Maths and English sessions while also providing personalised mentorship to help learners explore career paths, build confidence, and develop essential life and work skills. The ultimate goal is to guide students towards meaningful outcomes in Education, Employment, or Training (EET).

You will be working alongside one other Tutor/Mentor to deliver engaging, supportive, and impactful group sessions in person.

The role requires commitment of 4 hours per day, 4 days a week (time TBC)

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver functional Maths and English sessions tailored to learners' needs

- Provide 1:1 and group mentorship focused on personal development and career readiness

- Support learners in identifying and working toward career or education goals

- Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivational learning environment

Requirements:

- Experience working with young people in education or youth settings

- Strong knowledge of Maths and English (Functional Skills Level 1/2 or GCSE)

- Ability to engage, inspire, and support learners with complex needs

- Enhanced DBS on the update service is essential as the role is to start ASAP
