CRG are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a Large-scale Commercial Construction company based in Hillingdon, Greater London
We invite applicants who have strong experience as an Estimator in the Construction Industry, particularly within the Commercial / Fit Out Sectors, to get in contact for the opportunity to work with a Leading player in the Fit Out Sector who cover prestigious / high-end Projects for Sports Venues, Hotels, Airport Terminals and more.
Main Duties:
- Support estimating team in collation of estimates and contractors proposals
- Undertake take offs and quantities to provide detailed cost proposals
- Liaise directly with both clients, sub-contractors and suppliers
- Create enquiry packages including detailed scope of works and attendances to meet the clients brief, issue and engage with supply chain and manage the prompt return of information.
- Understand and apply mark-up / margin
Requirements;
- Experience in construction or Commercial industry – essential
- Excellent written and communication skills - essential
- Strong capability with Microsoft Office – essential
- Basic understanding of construction drawings – essential
