A global food business with a strong footprint across Europe is hiring aSupply Plannerto support the delivery of best-in-class service across its UK operations. This role will suit someone with excellent planning capability, a commercial mindset, and confidence managing relationships across internal teams and external partners.
About the Role
Working as part of a collaborative UK supply chain team, you’ll take ownership of planning finished goods across a high-performing product portfolio. You’ll act as a key point of contact between local and European teams, ensuring smooth product flow, strong availability, and readiness for key launches and events.
The role reports into the Supply Chain Manager and includes a mix of planning, coordination, and continuous improvement activity, with regular engagement across Commercial, Demand, Marketing and Operations teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the weekly supply planning cycle for assigned products, ensuring alignment to forecast and service targets
- Coordinate inbound movements from European production sites and 3PL partners
- Provide visibility of upcoming risks, constraints, and capacity issues, working cross-functionally to develop solutions
- Own system accuracy for stock levels, planning parameters and production schedules
- Liaise with warehouse and logistics partners to manage timelines, resolve operational issues, and maintain service standards
- Analyse stockholding, optimise replenishment plans and support inventory reduction where possible
- Contribute to S&OP discussions with planning insights and performance updates
- Track KPIs, reporting on planning performance, cost drivers, and key trends
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a supply planning role within FMCG, food or consumer goods
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make recommendations
- Working knowledge of SAP and good proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder, confident working across different functions and levels
- High attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills
