This company is seeking an exceptional Assembly Operative to join their Fitting Shop team at their Denham site. About the Role: Assembly Operative (Fitting Shop)

As an Assembly Operative in the Fitting Shop, you'll be responsible for a variety of critical processes that contribute to the production and testing of the company's world-renowned ejection seats. Your key duties will include:

  • Inspecting and testing products to precise tolerances and specifications using a range of gauges and inspection equipment
  • Assembling components and kits of parts to build complex assemblies
  • Masking components in preparation for blasting and bonding parts with specialist adhesives
  • Curing bonded assemblies and preparing them for final inspection


What We're Looking For

To excel as an Assembly Operative in this dynamic environment, you'll need:

  • Experience in the inspection and assembly of engineering components and assemblies
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • A background in manufacturing or engineering, with a strong understanding of health and safety, quality assurance, and COSHH regulations
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • SAP experience is desirable, but not essential
