Job title: Nursery Practitioner
Start:12th November 2025
Hours:8:00am- 4:00pm - Mon Fri
Act as a "key person" for a small group of children, building positive relationships and monitoring their progress towards developmental targets.
We are looking for potential candidates thathave experience with children that have a diagnosis of Autism orcomplex social and communication needs (CSCN).
- Have at least 6 months working with children between the ages of 2-4 years old
- Have a clear DBS registered to the update service
- Be available Monday-Friday - 5 days a week
- Be able to work between 8am-4pm
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Calm and caring nature
- Good organizational skills
Main duties -
- Capability to lift children and equipment.
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning environments and activities.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, such as theEarly Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) frameworkin the UK.
- In-depth knowledge of children's emotional, physical, and intellectual needs.
- Staying calm in stressful situations and understanding that children develop at different rates.
- Being open to change and responsive to children's interests and needs.
- To determine the need for, prepare and maintain general and specialist and equipment and resources
