We're offering a unique opportunity to join our Machine Shop Department as a Shift Supervisor, where your leadership will directly contribute to the production of life-saving ejector seats.

In this pivotal role, you'll guide and support a skilled team of Cell Operatives, overseeing the manufacture of precision components using a range of advanced machine tools. You'll be instrumental in driving performance, maintaining high standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.



What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of experienced operatives.
  • Allocating workloads and monitoring departmental KPIs.
  • Reviewing productivity and implementing performance improvements.
  • Conducting appraisals and supporting recruitment activities.
  • Communicating progress updates and departmental goals.


What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in managing or leading teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics and KPI development.
  • Budget management experience.
  • A proactive approach to team development and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or similar methodologies is a plus.
