Our client, a leading company in the water sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on Thames Water AMP8 projects, providing you with the opportunity to apply your expertise in an essential industry. The position is based in Harefield with hybrid working options, under a 12-month contract and is outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing quantity surveying duties for Thames Water AMP8 projects
- Preparing and managing target costs and lump sum contracts
- Overseeing change management processes throughout the project lifecycle
- Providing end of life forecasts and financial reporting
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Maintaining documentation and records to support project management and financial control
Job Requirements:
- Experience in quantity surveying within the water sector
- Understanding of target costs, lump sum contracts, and change management
- Proficiency in financial forecasting and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
