About the Role:
As Head of Science, you will:
Lead and manage a successful and well-resourced Science department (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Inspire and support a team of talented teachers to deliver exceptional outcomes at KS3-KS5
Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment activities
Drive forward teaching standards, using evidence-based approaches to improve pupil progress
Contribute to whole-school leadership and strategic development
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with a strong track record of student achievement
Has experience leading or coordinating within a science department (or is ready for the next step)
Is passionate about science education and curriculum development
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills
Is committed to inclusion, high standards, and continuous improvement
