A vibrant secondary school in Denham is seeking a dynamic PE Teacher to join their department from January 2026. This role involves delivering high-quality, engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, while promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and resilience among students.
The PE department is well-resourced and benefits from excellent facilities, including a modern sports hall, a fully equipped fitness suite, and expansive playing fields.
About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates
- Teach a broad, inclusive PE curriculum that engages students in a wide range of sports and physical activities
- Support students in preparing for GCSE PE through well-structured, effective teaching and assessment
- Encourage active participation in extracurricular sports, school clubs, and inter-school competitions
- Inspire students to build confidence, improve physical fitness, and develop essential teamwork and leadership skills
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level
- Strong understanding of the PE curriculum and associated assessment frameworks
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to promoting extracurricular sport and physical wellbeing
- Skilled at motivating and inspiring students of all abilities to participate and achieve their best
