Passionate Religious Education Teacher Wanted in Hillingdon! Ethical Secondary School
Location: Hillingdon Role: Religious Education Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3-4.
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a variety of religious, ethical, and philosophical perspectives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the RE curriculum with a focus on ethical considerations.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Religious Education.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages respectful dialogue and critical thinking within an ethical framework.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Ethics, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong subject knowledge across a range of religious, ethical, and philosophical traditions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate sensitive and engaging discussions within an ethical framework.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment within a brilliant and encouraging setting.
