Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Computing courses across Levels 2 to 5, with a focus on Security
- Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for 16-19-year-old students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student support
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: A degree in a Computing-related subject
- Teaching Experience: Experience delivering BTEC programmes at Levels 2 to 5
- Subject Expertise: Knowledge and experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Virtual Box or equivalent virtualization tools
- Operating Systems Configuration (Windows and Linux)
- IT Security
- IT Systems Support - Teaching Qualification: A Level 5 teaching qualification recognised in the FE sector, or a willingness to obtain one with the College's support
