Teqniq is searching for a Housing Advice & Homeless Prevention Officer to work in the public sector.

Job Description:

An experienced Housing Advice/ Prevention/Homelessness Receptionist, who can hit the ground running. Candidate will be expected to be part of the Housing Advice & Options Reception desk, completing Triage assessments, and carrying out respective prevention and relief work. Knowledge of Part VII Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act and other relevant legislation and statute is required along with experience of carrying out homelessness enquires, casework and drafting s184 decision letters.

Candidates will be required to demonstrate they have good customer services experience and practical experience of delivering in a pressurised Housing Options Services.

Candidate will be expected to be office based - Office hours are Monday to Friday - 9.00am - 5.00pm- induction period which normally takes two to four weeks to complete depending on level of competency.
