SEN Class Teacher – KS3 (Lower MLD / Upper SLD)
Uxbridge, West London
£240–£250 per day (depending on experience/qualifications), PAYE – paid weekly
Start Date: January 2025 / ASAP

A specialist education setting in Uxbridge is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Class Teacher to lead a small KS3 group with lower MLD and upper SLD needs. The class includes pupils with a range of learning profiles such as Autism, ADHD and Down syndrome, and benefits from strong multidisciplinary support.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN practitioner or a teacher with a passion for inclusive practice— including those from primary backgrounds or early in their career—who is eager to contribute to a warm, structured and person-centred learning environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, appropriately differentiated lessons aligned with individual EHCP targets

  • Support pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional and communication development

  • Work closely with dedicated support staff, therapists and families to ensure consistent, holistic progress

  • Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours across the day
