The school supports children with a variety of complex needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning challenges.
The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons.
- Working alongside teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals.
- Creating a safe, structured, and motivating environment.
- Encouraging pupil independence, progress, and self-confidence.
- Regularly assessing and adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience working in an SEN setting (primary preferred)
- A calm, patient, and adaptive approach to teaching
- A strong understanding of inclusive, pupil-centred strategies
- Passion for helping every child succeed, both academically and personally
