The Role
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experiencedYear 1 Class Teacherto join our forward-thinking team fromSeptember 2025. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of young learners in an environment that values innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
As Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum

Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that motivates and engages all pupils

Using a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of your learners, including those with SEND and EAL

Tracking pupil progress carefully, providing timely feedback, and adapting your approach to ensure excellent outcomes

Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, and the wider school community to support learning and wellbeing

Collaborating closely with colleagues within the Key Stage 1 team and across the academy to share best practices and contribute to school improvement

Participating actively in whole-school initiatives, events, and professional development programmes
What We Are Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching Year 1

A secure understanding of the EYFS and KS1 statutory frameworks and assessment requirements

A creative and reflective practitioner with a commitment to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive, nurturing learning environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships with pupils, parents, and staff

A proactive and collaborative approach, with a passion for continuous professional growth and development
