Diagnostic Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Technician with some EV skills to join a small but dedicated to get the job done team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical repair and maintenance background, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing issues and performing repairs on various machinery and vehicles.

Role Overview:


As an Experienced Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, including hybrid and electric vehicles (if certified).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various types of vehicles.
  • Perform some routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake replacements etc.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hybrid and electric vehicle systems (if certified).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Good Technical and Diagnostic Skills
  • Hybrid or EV Certification is highly desirable. However, our client can pay for and support you through training - for the right candidate.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Valid driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time, only 5 Days a week, 1:2 Saturdays

Pay: £40-45,000 Dependant on Experience
