Production Brazer/Welder - Denham, Middlesex
Are you a skilled Production Brazer/Welder looking for a role with purpose? We are hiring for a permanent position in Denham, Middlesex, with a British engineering firm that builds life-saving technology for military aircraft.
About the RoleAs a vital part of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of welding and brazing operations, helping to assemble parts and sub-assemblies. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside industry experts, gain new skills, and develop your knowledge in a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will also assist with development activities and provide welding support to the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Brazing low-temperature silver and high-temperature brass work.
  • Welding aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel to a high standard.
  • Operating a spot welder and carrying out deburring, polishing, and quality tests.
  • Assisting with Proof of Concept and other development welding activities.
  • Providing welding support for the maintenance team.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a candidate with a strong engineering background who is able to read and interpret engineering drawings. You should also have:

  • Experience using measuring equipment, gas cutters, and grinders.
  • Knowledge and experience with engineering hand tools.
  • Certification to BS EN:12797:2000 and AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1.
