The position is for a TIG Welder at an aerospace manufacturer located in Uxbridge, Middlesex, offering a pay rate of £16.00 per hour.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday from 08:00 to midday, totaling 37 hours per week.

TIG Welder Responsibilities:

TIG welding a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
Working from engineering drawings and SOPs to complete sub-assemblies
Self-inspecting work and performing basic quality checks
Occasional brazing/silver soldering (training available if needed)
Assembling parts using hand tools and fixtures

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience with TIG welding techniques on Stainless Steel
Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
Previous exposure to brazing or silver soldering is advantageous (not essential)
Experience working in aerospace or another precision manufacturing environment is beneficial
