CNC Miller | Verwood, Dorset | Up to £23/hr + 33% shift allowance (night shift)

This CNC Miller role offers the choice of day or night shifts, excellent benefits, and the chance to work in a modern, well-equipped CNC machine shop. Whether you're a skilled CNC Programmer, Setter, or Operator, this role offers autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to work on high-spec aerospace parts in a fast-paced environment. Day shift hours:
Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30
Friday 07:30–12:30 Night shift hours:
Monday to Thursday 15:30–01:45

As CNC Miller, your responsibilities will include:
  • Programming and editing NC programmes
  • Setting and running CNC milling centres (including 5-axis machines)
  • Producing parts to drawing specifications
  • Completing quality and OEE records
  • Preventing FOD contamination
  • Creating and updating setup sheets
As CNC Miller, your experience will include:
  • Time-served apprenticeship
  • Minimum 5 years’ aerospace experience
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with FANUC and Mazak controls
  • Experience working on 5-axis CNC milling machines in a busy sub-contract machine shop
