As Quality Control Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- First off and stage inspection of detailed machined components
- Creating and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102
- Batch inspection using manual techniques (micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
- Goods received inspection of treated parts
- Conducting patrol audits to monitor manufacturing processes
- Calibration and control of measuring equipment
As Quality Control Inspector, your experience will include:
- Interpreting detailed engineering drawings with geometric tolerances
- Manual inspection of machined parts in a machine shop environment
- Producing FAIRs to AS9102 standards
- Strong understanding of machining practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience operating or running a CMM (desirable)
