The responsibilities of the position include:
- Welcoming customers and accurately identifying their vehicle service and repair needs
- Providing timely updates throughout the service process to ensure customer satisfaction
- Advising on additional work required and promoting relevant service and repair options
- Working closely with workshop teams to coordinate effective operations and schedule completions
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for repairs and maintenance services
- Finalising invoices and processing customer payments efficiently
- Supporting team members to uphold high standards of customer care and dealership professionalism
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a main dealership environment
- Knowledge of Kerridge or comparable management systems
- Excellent IT skills alongside the ability to work independently
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle repairs
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Confidence in estimating and evaluating vehicle repairs accurately
