Description
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Preparing tax returns and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time
- Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategise solutions, and help organisations run efficiently
- Offering guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximisation strategies
- Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Coordinating audit processes
- Performing ad-hoc assignments as required
Profile
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
- Experience in a similar role and/or industry
- Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Superb time management and organisational skills
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders across different sites and countries
