Job Title: OIC Portal Claims ParalegalLocation: Wakefield, West YorkshireSalary: £23,000 - £25,000Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid working availableRole Summary & Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to support our lead file handlers in managing serious injury cases. This role is essential in ensuring smooth case progression and excellent client service. Key responsibilities include:Assisting lead file handlers with the progression of complex serious injury cases. Drafting standard correspondence through the ProClaim case management system. Acting as the primary point of contact for Fee Earners, handling incoming calls and general enquiries. Managing telephone queries efficiently and ensuring prompt message delivery to relevant Fee Earners. Collaborating with your line manager to meet monthly performance targets (KPIs). Regularly updating and maintaining accurate records on the case management system. Ensuring all filing and information management adheres to firm-wide standards. Scheduling appointments for Fee Earners as required. Liaising with the Finance Department to process disbursements and manage outstanding accounts. Providing support during busy periods, including document production, task coordination, phone handling, and general administration. Sorting and distributing incoming mail. Consistently achieving performance goals in a target-driven environment.
