The Role

We are seeking an experienced CAM Engineer to join our team, supporting our continued growth and capability in precision engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and optimising CNC programs, developing machining strategies, and ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimise, and validate CNC programs for precision components.

  • Utilise Siemens NX (preferred) and Autodesk Fusion software for CAM programming.

  • Work closely with design and production teams to deliver cost-effective, high-quality machining solutions.

  • Support tooling selection, setup, and optimisation for efficient production.

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide technical guidance to machinists.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.



Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a CAM Engineer / CNC Programmer role.

  • Strong proficiency in Siemens NX (preferred) and exposure to Autodesk Fusion.

  • Excellent understanding of CNC machining, tooling, and manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
