Our client, a precision engineering company, seeks to appoint an experienced CNC Machinist to programme set and operate a number of machines in their factory. The appointed CNC Machinist will have experience in programming alongside a 'hands-on' attitude for whatever may need doing. On offer is a competitive hourly rate with a great business known for treating their staff well. The position is on a permanent day shift basis.

Programming Setting and operating precision engineering equipment
Overcome any tooling and set up problems encountered when machining component
Adhere to Machine / Department 5S and support Quality / Business Improvement initiatives

Strong experience in machining, ideally apprentice trained
Ability to programme essential
Ability to use associated measuring equipment, mics, verniers etc
Confident with a positive and friendly attitude
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
