Our client is looking for a practical, motivatedLandscape Officerto help maintain safe, clean, and attractive estates across the district. This is a hands-on outdoor role working with a range of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality environmental and landscaping work. A driving licence is essential.
Key Duties
- Tree maintenance, hedge pruning, grass cutting, shrub work and leaf clearance
- Garden clearances, including removal of old sheds and other structures
- Supporting emergency response during adverse weather, including gritting, sandbagging, etc.
- Operating tools, machinery and mini diggers for soft and hard landscaping
- Working with estate teams and on improvement projects
What You Need
- Mechanical Plant Certificate (e.g., mini digger/JCB)
- Experience using powered tools (strimmers, hedge cutters, chainsaws)
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Awareness of health & safety
- Flexible approach and teamwork
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours/standby shifts
