HV Design Engineer (Progression to lead)

Wakefield - Hybrid

£70,000 - £80,000 + Car Allowance + Training + Progression + Hybrid + Up to 12% Pension

Are you a Design Engineer with experience in UK high voltage networks looking be part of one of the most well know companies in the North of England and work on extremely high value projects, while having a clear route of progression to management?

Do you want to progress your career and work on seven/eight figure projects for a UK leading provider of High Voltage power infrastructure services and adoptable utility networks?

On offer is the chance to join an industry leading in what is a brand new role brought about by growth. You will be seen as a real go to figure and be involved within the senior leadership team. You will be compensated with a generous remuneration package including 33 days holiday, up to 12% pension, and hybrid working.

In this role you will manage a small but growing multi skilled team of engineering colleagues to deliver the detailed designs for all workstream areas within the company.

This role would suit a Design Engineer with good working design and construction knowledge of 11kV through to 132kV (E)HV networks and substations, that is looking to progress into management.

The Role

  • Leading a small team of Design Engineers

The Person

  • Good working design and construction knowledge of 11kV through to 132kV
  • knowledge of the electricity distribution business and how this interacts with Private networks
