Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled electrical maintenance engineer to join a leading industrial manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-tech, process-driven environment where your expertise will play a crucial role in keeping production running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on industrial machinery and systems.

  • Responding to breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime.

  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on motors, panels, sensors, and control systems.

  • Reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot effectively.

  • Working closely with production and other maintenance staff to support operational goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an electrical maintenance engineer in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environment.

  • Strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of 3-phase systems, control panels, motors, and sensors.

  • Familiarity with PLCs (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley) is beneficial.

  • Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, HNC).
