Reporting to: Paraplanning SupervisorPurpose of the Role:• Work closely with Financial Planners to formulate advice, ensure client files remain compliant and produce competent suitability reports.• Complete annual suitability review letters for clients and raising any other potential queries with the Financial Planner(s).• Assist the Paraplanning Supervisor and Investment Committee with maintaining centrally held research for the firm’s Central Investment Proposition• Maintain accurate information within the firm’s Client Management System.

Specific Responsibilities• Act as a 'point of contact’ within the office for nominated Financial Planners, ensuring that their cases are logged within the team and providing regular updates on the stage each case is at.• Preparing and maintaining client files, and compliant suitability reports.• Completion of annual suitability review letters in a timely and accurate manner.• Conducting research on ad-hoc withdrawals of plans to assess suitability.• Liaising with the Client Services department on ad-hoc queries to ensure a continuous, high-quality service is provided.• Ensuring that the Client Management System is kept up to date as per firm expectations.
Skills and Qualifications• Achieved or working towards RQF Level 4 Financial Planning Diploma (CII preferred but not essential).
