Once the training is completed you'll be placed on shifts with a team cleaning trains on the depot in Crofton.The position is based on a busy Rail depot and all applicants would be expected to complete the following:* Physical cleaning including the roof of the Trains and other exterior* Complete cleaning with various chemicals and cleaning liquids* Manual labour * Complete Bio-Cleans (disinfect toilets and buffet cars)* Work within a safety critical environment * Complete cleaning with various chemicals and cleaning liquids* Manual labour * Complete Bio-Cleans (disinfect toilets and buffet cars)* Work within a safety critical environment * Internally and externally clean trains* Report any maintenance for fleets to go out into service at required standard* Radio communication/ point of contact for team leaders* Train staff to complete service/ heavy cleans to highest possible standard.* Bio cleans/ fatality cleaner - also trained other staff to complete this using correct chemicals and procedure* Underframe cleaning * Industrial carpet cleaning throughout fleet for Cross County and Virgin trains* Oxal cleaning (industrial acid clean) on exterior for Arrow Solutions promotion* Diversity training * Manual handling* Health and safety ( Zero attitude scheme)* Chemical handling (COSHH regulations)Ideal applicants would have had some cleaning or heavy industry experience and previously worked nights.
