Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and innovative Design Technology Teacher for a thriving secondary school in Wakefield. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 students in a well-equipped department, delivering engaging lessons in subjects such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach and inspire students across various design technology topics
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons
Ensure a safe and productive learning environment
Provide constructive feedback and support student development
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree or qualification in Design Technology or a related field
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passionate about fostering creativity and problem-solving
