Are you a Civil Engineer with a passion for designing roads and drainage systems for development projects? We're looking for someone just like you to join our client's dynamic team in Wakefield.

What you'll be doing:
·Designing highways, junctions, and drainage infrastructure using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
 
·Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations for planning and technical approvals
 
·Working closely with architects, planners, and structural engineers to deliver fully integrated design solutions
 
·Supporting planning submissions and technical approvals (Sections 38, 278, and 104)
 
·Contributing to flood risk assessments (FRAs) and sustainable drainage (SuDS) strategies
 
·Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients
 
·Guiding and mentoring junior engineers within the team
 
What we're looking for:
·A degree (BEng, BSc or MSc) in Civil Engineering
·Strong track record in the design of roads and drainage for UK development projects
·Working knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, Sewers for Adoption, and local authority standards
·Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage (or InfoDrainage)
·Great communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
