This is a fantastic opportunity to join their Serious Injury department, providing essential support to senior file handlers managing complex personal injury and medical negligence cases. If you have experience in a personal injury legal environment and are looking to progress your career within a modern, forward-thinking firm, this could be the role for you. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to lead file handlers in managing serious injury claims.
  • Draft standard correspondence using the firm's case management system (ProClaim).
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and Fee Earners, handling incoming calls and relaying detailed messages.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries where appropriate, escalating as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records within ProClaim.
  • Work closely with your line manager to meet monthly KPIs.
  • Coordinate appointments for Fee Earners and ensure efficient diary management.
  • Communicate with the Finance Department regarding disbursements, outstanding payments, and other related tasks.
  • Support general administrative duties including document preparation, sorting mail, and managing task lists.
  • Assist the team during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations across the firm.
  • Consistently meet performance targets in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the business.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working within a personal injury legal environment is essential.
  • Ideally, you will have experience with multi-track or medical negligence claims, though fast-track experience will also be considered.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach.
