Lead, Optimise, Excel Warehouse Manager Wanted.

Take charge of our warehouse operations at BPC Building Products and lead a high performing team to deliver efficiency, accuracy, and outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Wakefield WF2 9LP
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8.00am – 3.00pm.
Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the full scope of warehouse operations — ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement throughout.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing goods inward processes, including inspection and receipt of stock.
  • Managing stock control and inventory accuracy to minimise discrepancies.
  • Leading pick, pack, and despatch operations to meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Coordinating logistics and outbound shipments to ensure on-time and secure delivery.
  • Providing leadership and development for a high-performing warehouse team.
  • Establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance.
  • Maintaining health, safety, and compliance standards across all operations.

About You

You’ll be a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You bring both strategic thinking and practical experience to deliver exceptional results.

  • Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management.
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of stock control systems and logistics processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
