Brand new, exciting opportunity for a Company Secretarial Supervisor to join a well-established, growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Wakefield.This firm off a wide range of services to their clients, ensuring a well-rounded approach to assisting their clients with all their business needs.As a Company Secretarial Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Liaising with companies and colleagues to obtain information of Persons of Significant Control (“PSC”) and changes in PSC for filing with Companies House.
  • Checking, completing and the filing of annual Confirmation Statements
  • Completing forms for changes of director and shareholder
  • Completing forms for changes of company name, year-end, etc
  • Assisting clients with company incorporations
  • Assisting with share issues and share transfers for clients
  • Maintaining the share registers, including preparing minutes for routine matters
  • Filing of other forms with Companies House
  • General company administration and maintenance of statutory records on the Firms client database
  • Carrying out company searches via online facilities
To qualify for this Company Secretarial Supervisor role, ideally you will meet the following:
  • Experience in the reorganisation of share capital, including purchase of own shares and sub-division of shares (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in a Company Secretarial role in a professional services Firm, Accountancy or legal practice
  • Graduate, associate or fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (formerly ICSA) (desirable but not essential)
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Working knowledge of IRIS Software preferable, but not essential
