About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Practice Nurse to join our team in Middleton, Leeds. In this role, you will lead a nursing team and ensure that our practice provides an optimum service of nursing care relevant to our patient population. You will work to agreed protocols and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing team.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care.
  • Develop and implement nursing protocols.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the team.
  • Manage and coordinate patient care.

What We Need from You:

  • A degree in Nursing.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Independent prescribing qualification (or working towards this).
  • Qualification in at least two areas of long-term conditions, one of which must be Diabetes. Other areas include COPD and Respiratory Care, and Cardiovascular Disease (or working towards).
  • Training in sexual health and cervical cytology.
  • Expertise in wound care management.
  • Ability to administer immunisations for both adults and children.
