Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a fantastic family run manufacturing business in Wakefield. They are excited to be bringing in a Payroll Administrator who will be working stand alone on a mid volume payroll. They are looking for someone who has strong experience as a Payroll Senior, Administrator or Officer with a strong understanding of legislation and process and the ability to work alone.

Key Objectives

  • Payroll Administrator to process all weekly payroll information including starters, leavers, amendments
  • Payments and deductions
  • Process, monitor and check the accuracy of the monthly and weekly payroll ensuring that any errors are rectified efficiently
  • SMP, SSP
  • End of Year Process's
  • Queries
  • BACS

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced one system would be beneficial
  • Good systems knowledge
  • Several years previous experience In Payroll
  • Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries.
  • Up to date legislation knowledge
  • Deliver payroll & pension
  • Able to have flexibility to work on bank holidays but take time back in lieu
