Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a fantastic family run manufacturing business in Wakefield. They are excited to be bringing in a Payroll Administrator who will be working stand alone on a mid volume payroll. They are looking for someone who has strong experience as a Payroll Senior, Administrator or Officer with a strong understanding of legislation and process and the ability to work alone.
Key Objectives
- Payroll Administrator to process all weekly payroll information including starters, leavers, amendments
- Payments and deductions
- Process, monitor and check the accuracy of the monthly and weekly payroll ensuring that any errors are rectified efficiently
- SMP, SSP
- End of Year Process's
- Queries
- BACS
Essential Requirements
- Advanced one system would be beneficial
- Good systems knowledge
- Several years previous experience In Payroll
- Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries.
- Up to date legislation knowledge
- Deliver payroll & pension
- Able to have flexibility to work on bank holidays but take time back in lieu
