Job Title: Commercial Plumber

Pay Range/details: £35,000 per annum – OTE £40,000+ per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Omega are supporting well-established building services contractor in Wakefield in their search for a skilled Commercial Plumber. The right Commercial Plumber will be working on various commercial project and installs such as coffee shops, fast food restaurants, public sector facilities and airports. When you are not working on project you will be completing maintenance & reactive work.

Project mean you can be away from home Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities – Commercial Plumber

Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including hot/cold water systems, drainage, and heating pipework.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
Work on a range of commercial sites such as retail units, leisure facilities, office spaces, and refurbishments.
Ensure installations comply with relevant regulations and quality standards (e.g., Water Regulations, Building Regs).
Collaborate with site supervisors, other trades, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and to specification.
Conduct testing, commissioning, and fault-finding on completed systems.
Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
Adhere to company health & safety procedures and site-specific requirements.
Maintenance & reactive works between projects.

Qualifications & Requirements – Commercial Plumber

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating.
Valid CSCS card.
Experience working in commercial plumbing installations.
Strong understanding of UK plumbing regulations and building standards.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings and plans.
Experience with 1st and 2nd fix in commercial units.
Experience working on HVAC and M&E projects.
Can pass a DBS check.
