The Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will assist the Quantity Surveying Division on highways schemes.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

  • Driving Licence
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (Ideal)

  • Experience working on Highways Civils projects as Trainee, Junior, Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Duties

  • Provision of standard reports
  • Analysis of tender allowances
  • Cash management and maximisation
  • Subcontract and Design Procurement
  • The measurement and valuation of works
  • Assist in the preparation of cost to complete
  • Help to oversee cash Flow and Turnover forecast
  • Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
  • Assist with the submission of Cost Value Reconciliations
  • Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
  • Internal Valuations/CVRs and subcontract liability reports in accordance with schedule of accounting period end dates and deadlines
  • Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting and agreement of interim valuations in accordance with those dates
