We're seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Wakefield for a supply assignment starting January 2026 and continuing until the end of term.
You will play a key role in maintaining continuity for students during this period, delivering engaging and structured lessons across KS3 and KS4. The school offers a supportive environment with strong departmental resources and a collaborative team ethos.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring all learners are supported to achieve their potential.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those requiring additional support.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning where required.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience
