Science Teacher - Wakefield

At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful secondary school within the west of Wakefield, we are currently recruiting for a Science teacher who can teach across KS3/KS4 to start in September 2025.

About the role

This is a full-time, long-term role teaching Science to Key Stage 3/4 students for the academic year. This role comes with plenty of room for career progression for those who commit to the school’s passion for providing a supportive and enriching environment for these young adults. The school also places great emphasis on staff wellbeing and a healthy work-life balance.

About you
  • Have the ability to build strong rapport with young adults, and have experience mentoring students

  • Have experience teaching science to KS3 and KS4

  • Have QTS with a Science specialism

  • Have proven experience in raising pupil progression and dealing with students of all learning abilities
