We are a specialist education recruitment agency currently seeking a qualified and experienced HLTA to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school in the WF2 area of Wakefield.
This is a full-time role, starting immediately and running until the end of the academic year, with the potential for further opportunities.
The Role:
Delivering planned lessons across the primary age range
Providing PPA cover and supporting class teachers
Working with individuals and small groups to support learning
Contributing positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Have recent experience working in a UK primary school
Be confident delivering lessons independently
Have strong classroom management and communication skills
Be flexible, reliable, and committed to supporting pupil progress
Essential Requirements (All Applicants Must Have):
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through the agency)
Two professional references, one of which must be from a recent education setting
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
