Futures is working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business in the West Yorkshire region, who due to a period of continued growth are looking to appoint and Environmental and Sustainability Manager. The successful Environmental and Sustainability Manager will have a solid understanding of environmental, social governance and corporate social responsibility frameworks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop CSR frameworks
- Develop ESG policies
- Drive continuous improvement across environmental, social and governance areas.
- Ability to identify process and system improvements
- Ability to work with various stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Produce annual sustainability reports to a high standard.
- Experience engaging with external carbon auditors to measure, verify and support reductions in carbon emissions.
- Knowledge of relevant sustainability accreditations
- A track record of contributing to or delivering carbon reduction plans using responsible and innovative approaches.
