The Receptionist will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for visitors, contractors, and clients. The successful candidate will also provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional manner.
- Greet and check in visitors and contractors, ensuring site security and compliance procedures are followed.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue passes as required.
- Carry out general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and handling correspondence.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing meeting rooms, and coordinating refreshments when required.
- Support office teams with administrative tasks using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ensure reception and common areas are tidy, professional, and welcoming at all times.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is desirable.
- Confident telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
